  • I teach PreK.  I will use this to help my students learn about the book, help them to identify the words in the book with the cards and pictures.  This resource will be great to help my students do matching games, literacy games, and to learn word wall words relating to the book.  This is an awesome package.

  • I like to use the coloured and colouring versions of pictures to ask the children about the colours and to use for colouring in their own pictures.
I also use the coloured pictures laminated to get the children to order the story in groups and then use the plain pictures for them to order themselves, colour and stick down.
The matching game, I play with one group at a time whilst the others are using the playdough mats and coluring pictures.

    , May 17th
  • This is a fantastic story. Day one i read the kids the story and ask questions. The second day i introduce the story sack and tell them what one can find in it. I once again read the story and then after placing the laminated pictures i ask the children to put story in sequence on a big felt board. Thus like that they will be retelling the story in their own way giving them the opportunity to be creative.
Re the black and white printed paper we make a booklet using different media, textures.
