  • Using as a boxed up plan so my year 1 children can make notes on what they are going to write after being immersed in the story for 2 weeks. Will print as A3 to give them enough room to write.

Review this children's story book with this lovely illustrated writing frame! Great for assessing familiarity with the story; have your children write about the main character, the story setting, and what happened. Use it as a discussion starter to talk about the character's personality traits and how they must have felt, whether there's a moral, what the consequences of the character's actions were and more.
