This worksheet gives children a chance to reflect on key moments in the story of How To Train Your Dragon and asks them to use inference and deduction skills to identify with different characters at that moment. The moments chosen are Stoick shielding his weak son from the Green Death, Hiccup noticing the flicker of a dragon's eyelid in the Dragon Nursery and Hiccup being swallowed by the Green Death. L.O. Inferring characters' thoughts feelings and motives.
