  • Just wondering if there is anything that can tell us what level the children are working (below, W, W+, Secure etc) that corresponds to their level.

E.g A child has 75% of the assessment correct, woulr that be working at or working plus?
    Thanks

  • On question 11 in the fiction section, I believe there is an error in the mark scheme. The question asked for a sentence that shows she has ALREADY searched her back, and mark scheme indicates the sentence telling us of the FIRST time she searched her bag.

    • Hi Rastevenson,
I am really sorry to hear about this mistake, and I apologise if it has caused you any trouble. It will be changed shortly!

    • Thank you for getting back so quickly.

Also is there any change of a guide to how the total percentage scored would relate to age related expectations. For example, if a child scored 70-80% they are at age related, 80 = above and less than 70 = below?

      Thanks in advance,

    • Hi there Rastevenson,
We have now fixed this mistake and emailed you the corrected resource - I hope you find it useful! It will also be updated on the website very soon.

  • Mistake on page 8 of the reading booklet. If you poured a drop of Ribena into a teaspoon, you would see that is was a very dark purple colour.

    • Hi jbadhan,

Thank you for your comment on the Twinkl website.

I was wondering if you could provide a few more details about the mistake you have noticed?

      I hope you have a lovely day! : )

    • Thank you for your reply, of course I will elaborate.

The sentence itself does not make sense. "If you poured a drop of Ribena into a teaspoon, you would see that is was a very dark purple colour."

You have written "is was", which is not correct. I have spoken to my colleague, who also agrees and suggests that perhaps it should be: "If you poured a drop of Ribena into a teaspoon, you would see that it WOULD be a dark purple colour." or "...you would see that it IS a dark purple colour."

  • Hi,
In the guidance it says there is an assessment for each term but I can only find one, are the others going to be added later in the year?
    Thanks there are great!
Also where is the assessment spreadsheet that is mentioned in the guidance to go with this test?

    • Hi Devongirl30,

Thank you for your resource query on the Twinkl website.

We are in the process of making the spreadsheet to accompany this pack and the packs for subsequent terms. We felt that it would be best to put what we had already produced onto our website now, rather than waiting for the remaining resource first, as we know how useful these are!

      I hope you have a lovely day! : )
