  • My fault for not checking but it's a real shame that you don't have the spreadsheet for this paper. Hope it's available soon (like next week!).

  • This is great but it would be helpful to have the analysis sheet (like the ones that come with the reading tests). Any chance of this? It would save a lot of time analysing the raw data. Thank you.

    • Hi janeedmn,
Thanks for commenting! I can see this being a useful addition - I'll ask our design team to take a look!

  • I'm going to be using this for a study support class for year 6 tomorrow; hopefully, it will help me identify their weaknesses. It would be great to have a coverage sheet with it though. Would really cut down my analysing time.

  • Good revision tool.

  • Useful resource - thank you. Q48 is incorrect, I think, as the only option that could be considered a conjunction is 'despite' (and even that usually functions as a preposition). The 'correct' option is presumably 'nevertheless', but this is an adverb, as is 'moreover'.

  • This resource is useful for Year 6. Although I would say for the beginning of year 6. For future tests maybe a few more trickier questions could be added please? The sample paper released by the Dfe appears to have included questions about simple, present, progressive and subjunctive verbs. This is also similar in lots of other samples I've used. Thank you to those making the tests though.

  • Hi,
I can see that one of the 'article's has been changed to 'determiner', but q.49 needs changing, too!

  • Great resource. However, I still think it is confusing to use the word article as most chn will be more familiar with using the word determiner. They already have so much terminology to learn.

    • Hi hallingks2,
Thanks for your comment! I've had a look through the national curriculum and realised we that the term 'article' only appear in the glossary. I'll get this question changed to reference 'determiners' instead. If there is anything else that we can help with, do let us know. Have a great day!

  • Hi
This resource is very useful. I just wondered whether some of the questions about 'articles' could be about 'determiners' as that is a term the children now seem to need to know. Thanks
