  • Good morning,Some very clever boys in my class would like to point out a couple of errors in this resource. The errors are as follows:Question 4 has a typing error and Ramadan is typed as Ramadam. In the second and third paragraphs the sub-headings have the typing error of Muslins.

  • Hi! This would be such a lovely text if not for the mistake in the opening paragraph. Although Ramadan is currently during the summer, it moves forward a bit each year. For example, by the year 2030, Ramadan will be in January! As 50% of my class are Muslim, they will definitely notice this error.

  • This will be a very helpful support in RE lessons.  Plan to use the text, cut up into sections, for the children to read in a carousel, sharing and recalling the facts in pairs as talk partners.  The question pages will then support discussion and prompt independent writing.  This would also be a good guided reading activity too of course!
