  • Hi I've just downloaded the update and there seems to be some of the statements missing. There are only three pages within the zip file?

    , Aug 31st
    • Hi there :)

Thanks so much for pointing this out! This resource has since been updated and the new version is available to download from the site now :)

Thanks for commenting! I can see this being a useful addition - I'll ask our design team to make the amendment!

  • Hi, WOW this looks fantastic! Our class are going to London this year, so I'd love to use the resource. Would it be possible to amend it so the SPAG display section is editable? There are few tweaks I'd need to make to make sure it matches our curriculum.
    Thanks very much, Adam

Our teacher and design teams have completed this for you and sent it in an email, I hope you enjoy using it! It will available on the website as well within 48 hours, and you can find it either as a main resource, or under 'Alternative versions' above.

  • A great resource, can't wait to use it in my classroom! Just to echo what has already been requested: it would be great to have the statements in an A4 format (with the underground theme) that we could put in the children's books to use for targets and on-going assessment.

    • Hi chillin2_uk,
Thank you very much for commenting! This request has been put through and should be available shortly :)

  • Looks fab and a great way to reinforce GPS knowledge to my Year 6. Aiming for the class to use it as reference when needed to remind themselves.

  • This comment has been reported and is currently being reviewed by one of our moderators. Fingers-crossed it'll be back soon!

  • Is this resource purely for Y5/6? Wanted to ask before downloading, I teach a mixed Y2/3 class. If so, is it possible to get a version for the younger years?

    , Aug 24th
    • Hi smfg_17,
This version has been made with Y5/6 in mind. However, I have passed on your request to our fantastic Design Team who will take a look. Due to the large numbers of requests we receive every day, we are unable to make all of the resources requested. If we can make your resource we will be in touch to let you know, though we cannot guarantee when it will be completed. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know! Have a great evening :)

      , Aug 24th
    • Just an update on this resource. This version does go back to earlier years objectives, so could be used in a KS1/Lower KS2 classroom.
I hope this helps and clarifies things! Enjoy creating your underground displays!! :)

      , Aug 25th
  • Is there an A4 version of this that I can download anywhere? Ideally I'd like to add this to the children's books (Y5). Thanks very much!

    , Aug 24th
    • Hi Pri_Primary,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :)
Which particular resource from the pack would you like in an A4 version?

      , Aug 24th
    • I agree, that would be very helpful! :)

      , Aug 24th
    • Thank you for a very speedy response! Ideally the entire poster collection in the form of a tube map as I think that the information would be very helpful for their learning. So the 'SPAG Display' PDF but in the form of the 'SPAG Display Guide' - would that be possible? It may be possible in A3 due to the size of the writing or I wouldn't mind if you had to do separate documents for 'each line' too. Thank you in advance!

      , Aug 24th
    • Hi Pri_Primary,
Thanks for the extra detail, that'll really help our lovely Design Team when they're having a look at this request!
I'll see what we can do for you! Thanks for commenting, We'll be in touch soon! :)

      , Aug 24th
  • Thank you. Would you be able to make an editable version of the display as well as the guide and trains? I could then enlarge the font for my visually impaired student.

  • Hello!
The guide to go with this resource isn't correct with the station cards that I've printed out?

    , Aug 20th
    • Hi AmyHarrison91,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear that you are having some difficulty with this resource. Can you please give me a bit more information about the problem with the guide and cards so that I can check this resource for you? Thanks! :)

      , Aug 20th
  • Hi, Thanks for a great resource! However, when I print the Phrase Clause line, stations and matching poster, the light grey doesn't print. Is it possible to have this in another colour that will print? Maybe black? I hope that isn't too much trouble. Thank you!

    , Aug 18th
    • Hi missmaund,
Thanks for commenting! I will certainly ask our resource team if we can change the light grey colour for you.
      Have a lovely day! :)

      , Aug 18th
    • Hi there missmaund,

  • Just wondering how big the display ends up if you follow the guide. I want to make sure it fits on my display board before printing it all out. Thanks.

    , Aug 15th
    • Hi Andreaxx85,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you. There is an image of the finished display if you take a look at the guide. It is quite a large display! I hope this helps! :)

      , Aug 15th
  • Could i please have an editable version. Especially the guide, as I would like to provide each child with a small copy so they can highlight each zone as they achieve it. How many stations can they visit in one piece of writing etc.

  • Hi, this might be a silly question but what do you use the trains for?

    , Aug 6th
    • Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. The trains are for writing the childrens' names in, to go on the SPaG underground display. The display is supposed to show the childrens' route to SPaG success. I hope that this helps. If you have any more questions, please do get back in touch. Have a lovely day :)

  • I really love this resource but would love an editable version for connectives as opposed to punctuation for a VCOP display. Is there any chance of an editable version ? Thanks

    , Aug 5th
    • Hi Misswroe1,
I'll see what we can do for you! Thanks for commenting :)

  • This is great but there is a little mistake on the synonyms and antonyms cards - both say that they mean the same.

    • Hi ed14cd,
I am really sorry to hear about this mistake, and I apologise if it has caused you any trouble. It will be changed shortly!

      , Aug 3rd
    • Hi there ed14cd,
We have now fixed this mistake and emailed you the corrected resource - I hope you find it useful! It will also be updated on the website very soon.

      , Aug 4th
  • I really love this! Would you be able to create a version that could be edited? I would really like to enlarge the font so that each station is filled with text - I have a child with a visual impairment and the font is a little small at the moment.

    , Aug 2nd
    • Hi 2cool4school,
That sounds like a great idea, thank you! I'll ask our resource team if we can produce an editable version for you.

      , Aug 2nd
  • On the Standard English line (pink) at station 2, the use of OMG - even though it is informal language - is offensive to Christians (and possibly other believers). I wouldn't be able to display this in my classroom as it is at the minute. Please replace that reference to the sacred name of Deity with something that doesn't offend. Thank you for an otherwise great resource.

We have adapted this for you and sent the new version to you in an email - I hope you prefer it!

  • Before printing, I'm just wondering how much space this display takes up. Don't want to print it full size and then discover it's too big for my board.

    , Aug 1st
    • Hi there :)

If you download the resource, there is a guide to show you how the final display should look. You should get a good idea from there :)

      , Aug 1st
  • A great idea for a resource - is it possible to have the words grammar, punctuation and spelling separate? I have different areas of my display for spelling.

    , Aug 1st
    • Hi helen2667,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you. Is it the display banner on which you would like these words separately? Would you like 3 banners - one each for 'Spelling', 'Punctuation' and 'Grammar'? Have a lovely day :)

      , Aug 1st
  • Is it possible to create this banner in cursive writing?

  • This looks fab! Just one comment - on the 'Tense line' display - stations 2 and 3 are the same as 6 and 7 (both perfect tense). If you are following the order of teaching progression then I think station 1 is correct, station 2 and 3 should be progressive tenses (year 2), station 4 and 5 should be perfect tenses (year 3). Not sure where it goes after that!

  • Great resource. It would be great to have tube trains with the children's names on to add to this display, showing progress.

Thanks for commenting! I'll ask our resource team if we can make these for you. Have a lovely evening! :)

  • We use a similar 'tube map' for the writing process so this will complement it perfectly!

    , Jul 26th
  • Do you have an overview of how this should look when it is complete? Thanks
