  • My Y2 class found it tricky writing instructions following the Hamilton Plan for Spring. So I'm going to create a set of instructions then ask them to find the features using this checklist that I'll edit... e.g. underline the How to heading in red. Is there an introduction? If so, underline it in green. Colour the numbers/bullet points yellow etc. I'm hoping that this will help them to understand how to set out their own instructions correctly...fingers crossed!!.

Make sure you have everything you need to write a truly great set of instructions with this handy checklist! Add points of your own too if you think of any more.
