  • Hi,
Lovely resource, however I am unable to open the 'editable sentence' (word document).
If you could look into this, I'd appreciate it.
    Many Thanks

  • Is it possible to have these with a straight k and an alternative f?

  • Hi, is there any way you could enlarge (other than me stretching on the printer at school) this resource? I want to cover a large wall space above my WB with this as it will benefit the children when writing as this area is one that they will all be able to view when working? (It is a very large, long space :)
    Thankyou
    Alex

    • Hi Iamak1991,
Great suggestion! I'll certainly ask our design team to make a larger version for you. Have a lovely day! :)

    • Hi there!
Thanks for your comments! Are you using Adobe to view this resource? If so, when you click on print and the print menu pops up, about half way down you will see a section called Page Sizing and Handling. In that section you can click on 'Poster' which will mean printing the resource over multiple pages. To enlarge the resource, change the Tile Scale percentage underneath! Please let me know if this doesn't work so I can be of further assistance! :-)

    • Hi there,
This resource is designed so each word is cut out together (rather than individual letters) and the activity is then to arrange the words into a grammatically sound sentence. I hope this clears up some confusion!

      , Jul 18th
  • Is there a resource like this but for upper KS2?

    , Jun 5th
  • Great for display with year 3.Be much easier if you could produce exactly the above as a multi-page poster. There is an awful lot of cutting out needed!!

  • This is great - will be using it for display and to reinforce sentence structure with my year 4s - but I'm fairly certain sentence 3 is not compound as the second clause does not make sense alone.

    • Hi ninanewman,
Thanks for your comment. Our team are looking into this as we speak. We'll be in touch as soon as we have an answer :)

      , Mar 23rd
    • Hello again ninanewman- our English teacher has checked this and we are happy that the sentence you mentioned is a compound sentence as both clauses can be used independently of each other. I hope this helps!

      , Mar 23rd
    • Sorry - just noticed it had the correct sentence at the top of the page! Oops!

      , Mar 23rd
    • Hi ninanewman,

    • Hi Clazziebritchas,

We're grateful for all the lovely requests we receive here at Twinkl HQ! Our resource creation team will look into creating something like this in future and will be in touch to let you know if this is possible! Have a lovely day :)

      , Feb 20th
  • It would be good to have one complete display as well as the separate boxes to put together as an example, if we had that and an editable sentence we could put the example up and the words to create the sentence for the children to put together. We are going to use this one as an interactive display with the sentence displayed and the definitions/arrows for the children to add in themselves, to set our more able children a challenge.Love it, thank you.

    • Hi rlb0209,
Thank you so much for getting in touch! It's lovely to hear from you :)
I wanted to check I had understood your request before I pop it through to our design team :)
Would you like to have all the resources on one sheet of paper to give an idea about the layout of a display?

      , Feb 20th
    • I would like that please. i sheet of paper (that looks like your example one) so that I can enlarge it and have it as a large display on the wall. Thanks
