  • Good resource but a spelling error - 'spikey' should read 'spiky' for UK (no idea if other countries spell this word differently?)

Using an Apostrophe of Possession with Singular and Proper Nouns SPaG Lesson Teaching Pack - In this lesson pack, the teaching PowerPoint explains the different uses of an apostrophe and explores the spelling rules for using apostrophes of possession with plural nouns. The PowerPoint also explains some exceptions and potential pitfalls with apostrophes of possession. In the accompanying differentiated activity, children can practice converting singular nouns into pleural possessive nouns, correctly using apostrophes of possession. The accompanying starter game could also be used to distinguish between plural and possessive nouns.
