    • Hi there,
As part of our mission, we provide a selection of our materials free of charge and we know that you understand that these materials do cost money to create, host on the website and for us to allow you to download. We do have over 100,000 free resources on the site so there is a lot to discover. If you would like any support finding our free resources, please do let me know. Unfortunately though, we are unable to make all of our resources free of charge and this resource is only available as a Premium resource. :)

    • Hi UmmAbdoulKarim,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :)

This is a differentiated resource aimed at LKS2, so it would be suitable for a range of pupils from Year 2 and into UKS2. We suggest that you use your knowledge of your class to determine which activity is most appropriate for your pupils :)

  • Great resource, however there is an error with the example given on the worksheet: if the subordinating conjunction comes in the middle or at the end of the sentence – no comma is required.

  • EALD students often write as they speak. My students are now at the stage where they need to "stretch" their sentences to make their written (and oral) language more powerful. So, these worksheets will act as a great reminder for them. (Thank you.)

  • I have a student in mind who has auditory processing issues. One of the areas he needs work in is creating complex sentences. This should be a great way to get him working at a Year 4 level.
