Hi, just had a look at this resource and would like to comment that the locations of mountains are not very accurate. You have Kilimanjaro 2 countries away - I think Ethiopia. It should be in Tanzania which is to the south of Kenya. The S. American one is apparently in the sea. Might be worth making this more accurate! The information looks good though.

The facts are fantastic! The only thing I noticed is that Mount McKinley has now been renamed - Obama officially put it back to it's original name of 'Denali' recently.

Love these fact sheets - will use them in my next topic on Mountains for year 3 for display. I would also like to create a scaled display showing the height of the top 5 tallest mountains (bar chart style but with mountains) - would you be able to help with a resource or template for this?

      Hi rachelclough,
That's a lovely idea! I'll ask our teacher team about this for you :)

Year 6 Topic (Mountains). These are great on the display wall. Just enough information on them to keep the children interested. Really love the 'Did you know?' post its.... I have overheard the children quoting 'Did you know facts?' in the playground. Great stuff....
