Year 5-6 North America Geography Morning Activities PowerPoint

Year 5-6 North America Geography Morning Activities PowerPoint - These slides are a week of morning activities designed for Y3/4s learning about North America. They can be displayed on the board, expecting the children to work independently. There should be very little teacher input. Activities include identifying countries in North America using flags, write a postcard from a visit to the Canadian Great Bear Lake, and use atlases to identify missing US states, invent your own state, describing a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and a true or false activity.
