This exciting class activity allows your pupils, in a mock trial setting, to examine the case of Lord Darnley's murder and decide who they think was guilty. It presents opportunities for discussion, debate and drama. Pupils may then be motivated to further research suspects and motives for the crime as well as thinking about the 'what if...' situations if circumstances had been different for Mary Queen of Scots.
