This differentiated comprehension activity teaches the children all about some influential Muslim scholars who are responsible for a wide range of inventions that we now take for granted in our everyday lives. There is a heavy focus on the development of medicine and surgery. There are three levels of text and accompanying questions designed to encourage children to use their comprehension and historical enquiry skills.
