  • Higher ability version would be great for homework but would love an editable version so I can change the last box to 'ask a partner' or 'ask a family member' to write some decimals for you to have a go at rather than the children just write their own.

  • I've just checked again... it says on the description that there is a standard, lower and higher ability option.

However the Main and the One Star sheets (and answer sheets) are exactly the same.

The Three Star sheet is more challenging.

I think I presumed the activity was differentiated three ways because of the description, but it must only be differentiated two ways?

    Thank you.

    • Hi Year_5_Stockton,
Thank you for commenting! If you download the main resource (ignoring the versions below the download button) you will see the first two sheets (with one star at the bottom) are the lower ability sheet and answer sheet, the second set of sheets (two stars) is middle ability and answers and the final two sheets are for the higher ability. I hope this helps! :)

      , Feb 2nd
    • Thank you! I see it now - three differentiated sheets are all on the main download!

  • Might just be my eyes on a Friday after a long week at school but I can't see any difference between the main activity sheet and the lower ability one. Thank you.
