  • After using this resource today, we noticed a couple of errors which meant the children couldn't find the perimeter of the shapes.
Shape n - there are 2 missing horizontal lengths out of a possible three, so you cannot find one of the lengths.Shape o - there is a small vertical missing value that you cannot calculate.
There may be other errors, however we abandoned the sheet after finding these errors.

  • The measurements of each labelled side are very misleading. It is not a resource I would be using again. Not accessible for children who are also looking at scale.

    • Hi sturks,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you. I have worked this out for you!
The labelled sides = 68cm. That leaves 12cm to find with the two remaining un-labelled sides. The horizontal un-labelled side is equal to the opposite 9cm side minus 4cm, so must be 5cm. The vertical un-labelled side can be worked out by subtracting 3cm and 2cm (6cm-4cm) from 12cm which equals 7cm.
      I hope this helps! :)

  • I believe that Q and T are impossible. Too many missing measures or incorrect values.
