  • Love the inverse triangle - we call it King of The castle (it works well well with addition and subtraction number bonds to 10,  100 and 1000). Is there a version of these multiplication triangles that just focuses on each timetable separately rather than all 2-12 at once?

    • Hi lil.smartie,

Thank you for getting in touch on the Twinkl website.

I'm sorry you're finding this resource confusing. Have you seen our completed multiplication triangles? http://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t-n-4664-2-12-multiplication-triangles
Perhaps looking at these first might help to explain them to the children. The idea is that they show the inverse operations and how numbers are commutative. They don't have an equals sign on them because they are designed to be used in different ways for problem solving.

I hope this helps and that you have a lovely day! : )
