  • Having lots of trouble opening the powerpoint! Have tried on more than one device - is there a problem with it?

  • Useful however one of the 'big ideas' for statistics in the year 6 maths curriculum is that children understand that pie charts visually represent relative proportions so a larger pie chart represents a larger number of people, therefore the chart representing the girls should be larger than the boys as it's 50:30.

  • For question 2 can a close estimate be correct? Really helpful though.

      I've taken a look at this resource and the answer section does state that estimations will vary. The answers in Q2 are linked to the values from Q1 so I would expect these to reflect the estimates given in the earlier question.
