  • I agree with the poster below. I printed the sheet actual size and the measurements are completely off and the 2* and 3* sheets are nearly all decimals.

    • Hi Lucypc,
I am really sorry to hear about this mistake, and I apologise if it has caused you any trouble. It will be changed shortly!

    • Hi Lucy. I have printed this resource and checked it, and the measurements are correct. The HA sheet measures to the nearest 0.5cm. As the lines are quite thick, the correct measurement is taken by measuring on the outside of the shape. With activity sheets that involve measuring please check you have selected to print at 'Actual Size' or '100%' to ensure you are reproducing the resource as intended. We have also updated the activity sheets to specificy that the shapes should be measured to the nearest centimetre in case of further printing issues and I hope you find it more useful!

    • Hi there Lucypc,
Thank you for spotting this mistake! Our lovely teacher and design teams have solved the issue and have emailed the corrected resource to you! It will also be updated on the website very soon - I hope you find it useful!

  • The answer sheet on this is incorrect. The measurements on this are numbers with one decimal point (eg, 3.2), which is too difficult for most of my class. Had I not have checked it, this would have caused huge problems and prevented any learning from taking place in this planned lesson. I suggest that it should be of high priority to change either the resource measurements or the answer sheet to avoid this being an absolute nightmare for other teachers! Not even worth 1 star

  • This resource was used to introduce my class ( SLD Post16) about measuring the perimeter of shapes. particularly helpful was the use of graph paper initially to simplify the task. This would have been great also if it was in Welsh. Thanks
