  • A great resource but slide 4 is incomplete / misleading. A square based pyramid does not have 4 triangular faces only. It also has a square face also. Thanks

    • Hi y6chinley,
Thank you for pointing this one out - I can see how it could cause confusion, especially in comparison to the tetrahedron. We'll get it changed right away. Have a great day :)

  • This power point still says a cone has 0 vertex...when it has 1.

    • Nooooo! A cone does not have a vertex! My class were all over this last week! A vertex is where edges meet - no edges meet on a cone, it is merely a point where the face curves around! Please change it back!

    • Hi gembop,
Thanks for your comment. The teaching of this does seem to vary between schools. To make sure there's a version for everyone, I'll ask our design team to produce an alternative version shortly.

      Have a lovely evening! :)

  • Is the last shape not an octahedron? Also pentagonal is spelled incorrectly.

  • There are some errors in this - a cone has 1 vertex, not 0, and the shape you have identified as an octagonal prism is not a prism at all!
