  • I used this as a problem solving workshop. The kids split into teams and worked on the parts they felt confident with. They really enjoyed it and learnt lots off each other.

  • This looks great! Is it possible to have a version that uses $ and cents rather than pounds please?

  • This is great, especially having a Lower ability version. On the LA version though, there are 2x 25p in the word grid - can you change the amount linked to Chocolate drops as this is the one that's not needed.

  • I used this amazing resource yesterday as part of a 'maths morning' with my Year 4 class. They absolutely loved it. All children were engaged and they couldn't wait to find the culprit. Thank you for creating this.

    • Hi J88Kelly,
It's always lovely to hear that people like our resources and I'm glad your class were able to track down the culprit! Thank you so much for letting us know! :)

  • Used this as a group activity when half the class was out on a trip. It was a year 4 MA and LA group, and they had to be heavily guided. But they really enjoyed it and were guessing the whole way through.Think some of my HA year 4 could work through it in their own group, but would take at least a full hour.

  • Haven't used this in class yet but just went through it with my Year 5 son and he loved it!  It is so well put together, keeps you guessing to the end.  Worked well as a one to one, not sure how it would work as a class.  Maybe in a small group or a whole class demonstration with children working out answers.

This super maths problem solving game will get KS2 children's maths skills going, in an attempt to unmask the fidget spinner dunker at Littlesville Primary School! Ideal for year 4 and year 5.
