  • Brilliant resource, however there is a slight error on the 16th slide - it says 2/5 + 5/5 = 1/5.

  • Great powerpoint for revision in year 5. It would be great if there was another powerpoint for adding fractions with multiples of the same denominator
    e.g 2/3 + 1/6

Thank you for getting in touch with your resource suggestion! Everyday here at Twinkl we get thousands of requests for new resources. Due to the large numbers, we are unable to make all of the resources requested. If we can make your resource we will be in touch to let you know, though we cannot guarantee when it will be completed. If there is anything else we can help with, please don't hesitate to get in touch! Have a great day :)

  • Useful worksheets for LA set in year 5 as revision.

  • This is good, but in my opinion it would be better if (on the earlier slides) there was more animation, so all the answers were not given away straight away, to keep pupils engaged.

    • Hi, I'd prefer the version where answers are hidden to enable discussion prior to revealing the answer to the children but I can't seem to find this version or download an alternative version. Please could it be emailed to me or uploaded so it can be downloaded. Many thanks

    • Hi RachelBaker,
Thanks for commenting! I'll ask our teacher team about this for you :)

  • There are no examples of subtraction on the powerpoint or the worksheets. In fact, this is identical to the old year 3 'adding fractions' pack, but it has been renamed. This is a great resource, but could you update to include some examples of subtraction and some subtractions sums on the worksheets please?

    • Hi EmTeeEm,
I'll see what we can do for you! Thanks for commenting :)

    • Hi there EmTeeEm,
We are in the process of creating a new PowerPoint resource dedicated to subtracting fractions and it will be available on the website as soon as possible!

  • Fantastic to find this resource with appropriately leveled worksheets for my Year 3 class.

Suggestion for possible improvement - have more examples in the powerpoint along with 'questions/opportunities' for children to have a go, then reveal the answer.

  • I don't understand why on the worksheets (page 2 and 3) that the questions are repeated twice on the sheet?

    , Jul 6th
    • I think it is to save on paper- you only need 1 sheet for two copies of the questions.
