  • This was a very enjoyable lesson. Loved the idea about researching hybrid dogs. The pairs card game was quite tricky, although at first glance it seems simple. I told my students that it was the process, not achieving the correct answers, that was important (ie, I couldn't match up all the cards myself!)

  • Lesson introduction. Some of the ideas in evolution and inheritance are quite tricky, even for year 6 pupils so it is useful to have simple colourful resources.
