This PowerPoint is a great resource you can use to help teach your students the features of a great newspaper report, including:
  • The Headline - Grab people's attention with a few interesting words relevant to the story.
  • First Paragraph - Short, snappy and explaining briefly what happened.
  • Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? Make sure to answer these questions in your article.
  • Use quotes from different sources to make your report more believable.
  • Try it with your class today!
