This is the first lesson in a half-term-long unit of work covering pre-1914 literature. Ideal for a mid-set Year 8 class, this unit can also easily be adapted for Year 7 or Year 9 classes. This lesson introduces the unit with a contextual activity, before beginning exploration of an extract from 'The Hound Of The Baskervilles' by Arthur Conan Doyle.
