  • I'm a bit confused as to why some letters are missing - particularly as I wanted to give each child their own initial and I needed J and O. I'm using it as part of an end of term activity book for KS2.

    • Hi there Alicetwinkl,
The Medieval alphabet was slightly different to our modern alphabet and didn't have all the same letters - that is why there seem to be a few missing!

    • I was wanting to use this at the beginning of next year. I was after a letter J and X. If you have made these I would love to have them please.

    • Hi there,
As mentioned above, the medieval alphabet was not the same as the Latin / English alphabet that we use today, and did not have all of the same letters that we do - most notably the 'J' and 'X' are missing. I hope this clears up some confusion!
