  • Hi, I am not sure how to open this in Paint? it is opening as a png. file and I need it open as a jpeg? thanks

    • Good afternoon!
      The pictures in this file are PNG images. All Windows 7 and 8 computers include two programs that can open Portable Network Graphics files. Windows Photo Viewer is best for looking at a picture or printing a copy. To edit an image or save it in another image format, use Paint (you might need to double check Paint software has been downloaded onto your computer). Please let us know if that doesn't seem to work :)

Continuing in this series of lessons, children will focus on Monet and his use of colours. They will learn about shading and complimentary colours before applying this technique to uploaded photographs.
