  • Hi.
Do I use the ordnance survey map on the powerpoint for this lesson or do I need to find my own?Not clear from the plan. Thanks.

    • Hi fionaetben,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :) We recommend you use your own ordnance survey maps one per pair so children can have a closer look. The one on the powerpoint is just an example to show children what an ordnance survey map looks like. I hope this helps :)

In the fifth lesson of this unit, children bring together their learning about maps (including map symbols, compass points and grid references) to plan their own journeys using Ordnance Survey maps.
