PlanIt - History LKS2 - Anglo Saxons and Scots Lesson 1: The Invaders Lesson Pack

PlanIt - History LKS2 - Anglo Saxons and Scots Lesson 1: The Invaders Lesson Pack - In this lesson children learn why the Roman occupation in Britain came to an end and how, when and why the Scots and Anglo Saxons were next to invade. They use maps to find out where the invading troops came from and where in Britain they managed to settle. The children also learn about the different kingdoms established by the Anglo Saxons and they complete a character analysis of the British king Vortigern or one of the Anglo Saxon brothers, Hengest or Horsa.
