  • A well put together set of lessons. It has changed the perceptions of my y5-6 class.

In this lesson the children find out all about some significant Muslim scholars. The main focus of the lesson is on the development of medicine and a closer look at the lives of two influential Muslim doctors, R?z? and Al-Zahrawi. There is a differentiated comprehension activity, a medicine game and the opportunity to research some other significant Muslim inventions, such as the camera obscura.
