  • Love the idea of the 'penalty shootout' reasoning, estimating and measuring task but not sure that the resource actually achieves its aims. It says that the children should estimate / measure each kick on the sheet and match it to the player. However - the sheet has the angles given (40, 75, 150 etc.) right next to the goal shooting 'arm' of the angle, so the only thing left for the children to do is say which player shot which one.

    It would be much more iseful if the angles were not given on the sheet so that we could use it for estimating the angles, estimating which is for each player, then measuring, then checking. Could you put this together please?
