  • Great resource, but the tally chart on p. 8 of the Presentation is incorrect. The tally marks do not add up to the frequencies.

This is the fourth in a series of six lessons looking at using charts, tables, and graphs with different scales to present and interpret data .In this lesson, children learn to use a 10:1 scale to create a pictogram. They will create tally charts showing children's lunch choices, before using this data to create their own pictograms.
