  • This resource is amazing - saves so much time. However one of the comprehension questions is presented as a retrieval question. The question about what uses a motor. I can't find that presented in any of the texts so it isnt retrieval. Unless Im missing it somewhere!!

  • It's great to not have to plan everything from scratch, and I like the fact the resources are differentiated. However, the quiz on the powerpoint goes from question 9 to question 15!

  • Hi there :)

We have had some questions regarding the content of some of our Science resources.

In this pack we do reference atoms and electrons. While this isn't explicitly referenced in the National Curriculum, it does help to eliminate misconceptions that arise from giving an 'easier' explanation.

  • Great starting point - but why are atoms and electrons on the presentation? Am I missing something, but these are in the KS3 curriculum, with no mention in the Year 6 programmes of study.

    • Hello again :) Please see my colleague's explanation for why we reference atoms and electrons above :) I hope this helps :)

  • Brilliant resource. I have mixed it up with elements of the Y4 electricity topic as my Y6 group didn't cover atoms/neutrons etc in Y4 so this gave them a great overview. Excellent resources as always, in particular the powerpoint.

  • The links in blue don't work. I can find the sheets but can't access or find the 'Great scientists mini-biography' or 'differentiated AC or DC? activity sheet.
