In this lesson children will explore the different theories that suggest Stonehenge may have been an ancient astronomical calendar. Children will learn how Stonehenge could have been used to predict eclipses and measure the year, and will analyse the evidence that supports and refutes this theory. Children will develop their own theories based on this evidence.
