According to the IPC this unit gives the children a chance to learn about food. They will find out why they need to eat food and what the best foods are, about artists that use food for their ideas, where their food comes from, how to plan, make and evaluate a healthy pizza, how food plays a role in celebrations and festivals, about the food their grandparents and parents ate when they were kids and about famine and drought around the world.
