  • Great resource but the definition of an exclamation sentence is wrong. New documentation for year 2 states that an exclamation sentence must have a subject and verb in it and start with what or how. For example what big eyes you have! How dare you! But a sentence such as what a wonderful story would not be classes as an exclamation sentence because it has no verb. This however it not to be confused with using exclamation marks in sentences. I was also informed that exclamation sentences do not have to have an exclamation mark. All very confusing I know.
