  • I've modified the game a little. I get children to roll the dice, with each number corresponding to the digraph / trigraph above it. They then find that digraph / trigraph on their sheet and put a counter over it. The first child to fill their board wins a couple of house points. Kind of like bingo.

  • I am sure how to play this one, do they roll dice and if they land on one look for the ure sound on each line?

    • Hi andreaok32,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you. The children roll the dice and then recite the sounds in the column which matches their number. I hope this helps :)

    • Sorry - I still don't understand? There are only 4 columns, but there are 6 numbers on a dice. What do you do if you roll a 5 or a 6jQuery17106390538832760868_1479462689640 Thanks

    • Hi Clevedon999,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :)
The sounds across the top of the sheets are the ones which correspond to the numbers on the dice. The children would say that sound and then find it on the sheet. They could either colour it, or pop a counter on it. When all the sounds are covered the children can see who has won by how many sounds they have coloured. I hope this helps! Just let me know if I can help further :)
