  • I will be using this in a lesson looking at one to one correspondence with Year 1. I will pose Q's to them. e.g. are there enough apples for each butterfly to land on? and then get the chn to explain how they have got to their answers. I have really struggled to find resources for one to one correspondence.

  • Lovely number picture to allow children to count and describe what they see using appropriate language. e.g. There are 4 more birds than cats etc...

    • Good afternoon RebeccaElliott,
Thank you very much for commenting! It's great to hear from you :) Is there a particular theme or scenes you would like including if we could make more of these? I look forward to your reply :)

    • Any theme would be fantastic. Maybe a zoo theme, a classroom theme, a kitchen, a garden, a pet shop, the fire of london, a dr's surgery.

This PowerPoint allows children to look at the maths all around them. In these brilliant slides, they can hunt for different objects and practise their counting skills using the game of 'I Spy'
