  • Hello everyone! You might find these instructions helpful. 1.  There 4 players and each player chooses a colour.2. The purple bubble is the adult or older person who is facilitating the game. They start the conversation and end it.3. The players move to each bubble. If it's a red bubble, the child who chose the red bubble chooses from the red prompt cards and adds to the conversation.4. The next colour, ie yellow, the yellow player then chooses a yellow prompt card and also adds to the conversation.5. This continues until they reach the purple bubble, then the adult ends the conversation.6. The prompt cards include - ask a question, make a comment, nod to show you're listening and more. I hope this helps! :)

    • Dear Mary and Natalie, thank you so much for your amazing help! I'm very grateful. Can I just clarify, so for example, there is a player with a red counter, a yellow counter, a blue counter and a green counter. The adult starts the conversation, and then does everyone put their counter on the first place i.e. the red bubble and then the red bubble person starts the conversation with a conversation starter, does she address that conversation starter at all the players or a person in particular. When do you decide to move onto the next bubble and again, does everyone move their counter to the next bubble? Are all players moving their counters along at the same time to each bubble but only the player with the colour counter that matches the bubble will add to the conversation. Are all players allowed to respond once the player with the colour that matches the bubble adds to the conversation. So sorry, just wanted to check but yes, it looks like a great game as there's such a need for this. Best Wishes, Tanya

    • Hi tanya.4945,
Thank you so much for getting back in touch! The way this game was intended to work is that one conversation would move long the board with the players taking it in turns as shown by the different colours. When the person before has finished speaking the next person would begin, using a prompt card. Each conversation lasts for the entire path on the board. You don't need counters to play, but you could use them if you would like. If you have a different way of playing this game, just let us know! I'm sure it can be used in a lot of different ways!

  • Dear Twinkl, this looks like a great idea.  I'm just not sure how to use it.  Do the players throw a dice to know where they land.  If you could just give me a step by step idea of how each player knows where they land each turn on the board and which player the player who is moving at that time addresses the question to.  I'm a bit confused.  Looking forward to hearing from you.  Best Wishes
