  • Why is there no mention of the fact that Guru Gobind Singh also took amrit from the panj pyare and also we as Sikhs got given the surnames 'Singh' for men meaning to be as courageous as a lion and 'Kaur' for women meaning 'Princess'? Also not including the names of the Panj Pyare isn't great either. Each of the Panj Pyare got given a new name and Sikhs today have the opportunity on this day to be blessed with amrit. Please make sure you are sharing ALL major facts about Vaisakhi.
