  • Thank you for emailing the questions to me so quickly.Have you thought of adding an option for all your comprehensions to have RIC; Read Interpret Choice to mark which type of question it is for the children beginning to use RIC. Could be an option in your downloads ? I think lots of people would be thankful

  • We have just read the beautiful story Herbert the Brave Sea Dog by Robyn Belton based on a true story of a dog in Nelson New Zealand. After 30 hours in wild seas the dog is rescued by a fisherman. This verse will be an interesting addition to the collection of works we have in the class where the relationship of humans and animals are considered. I love the fact that the work is from the point of view of the dog. I suspect we will consider the well being of creatures and how we can care for "man's best  friend".

A differentiated reading comprehension activity based on the poem 'Firework Night' by Enid Blyton. A great activity to use alongside a poetry unit, a fantastic guided reading task or useful homework activity. The comprehension comes complete with answers.
