  • Good resource - my class were very engaged as used this as a collaboration task while introducing our Stone Age topic. However, some of the answers don't match the questions, so I had to spend a lot of time researching myself.E.g. The card asks how many teeth an Andrewsarchus might have had and how wide it could open it's mouth. Yet the answer card says "Andrewsarchus skull was 83cm long and 56cm wide".

A set of estimation cards based on Stone Age animals and objects. How fast did you think a safer toothed cat could run? Ideal for some extension activities bring maths to topic work.
