  • I really want to use this resource as it is the only version with pounds and pence, however it is not differentiated. Would it be possible to have the higher ability version with pounds and pence please? Thanks

    • Hi jillrichards,
Thanks for your lovely request - I'll ask our design team to take a look and see if we can make this change for you. In the meantime, I'd recommend using the "Editable" version which you can find in the "Alternative version" box just underneath the pink download button. Have a great day :)

I've taken a look at and it appears to download properly for me here. Our Help Centre should provide a solution but I will also send a copy of the resource through to you. If you're still having trouble, let me know and I'll have another look at this right away!

  • hi, this resource is great thank you so much. just wanted to check, on the HA one with the entertainment, we had worked out the Dancing Queen DJ to be cheaper (£212) than the Grand Master Groove (£216) but your answer sheet says £216! Where have we gone wrong!? Thank you x

    • Hey there,
I've just taken a look at this for you and found the resource answer to be correct.

The question asks which DJ works out the cheapest if you want the DJ lights. The first DJ (Dancing Queen) already has the lights included so you just need to work out the total cost VAT. His cost is £185 + VAT at 20% which is £37. If you add these two amounts together the total cost is £222.

The second DJ however doesn't include the lights so you need to work out the total cost for the DJ and add it to the total cost for the lights.

      DJ- £135 20% VAT( £27) = £162 in total
      lights - £45 20% VAT (£9) = £54
Add the two together and it gives a total cost of £216

This makes the second DJ Grand Master Grove cheaper.

I hope this helps but please let me know if I can help you further.

      Have a lovely evening! :)

  • How cool!! The beginning pages would be revision on fractions and percentages, and then it grows to include new learning that they can self-learn, so I might put this as wee-long homework to back up our economics and maths all in one!

Is there an editable copy though (not pdf)? I am in Australia and want to change all the pound symbols to $. The numerals are about right though, it's just the symbol.
