  • Quick consolidation of K. Only queries: local high school calls bulbs 'lamps' not bulbs which I took to be the correct technical terminology. Explanation sheet might be helpful too - I'm not sure of the reason why changing thickness of the wire does not affect the brightness of the bulb - I would have thought resistivity would be altered and therefore brightness.

    • Hi libwis,
Thank you so much for getting in touch! It's lovely to hear from you :) Your suggestion about an explanation sheet is a great one, and I have requested this be added. I have also checked the terminology, and bulbs is commonly used - rather than lamps - for simple circuits. I hope this helps!

We love powerpoints! Great for supporting your teaching on this topic, they can be used as discussion starters and during whole-class teaching. An absolute must!
