  • Good resources but the heart diagram is confusing as blue is normally used to represent deoxygenated blood and red for oxygenated blood. It could do with being changed if possible.

    • Hi there donnabarker13, thanks for your comment! This is a teaching pack which means it contains lots of our lovely resources! Do you have an unzipping programme on the device you're using to open zip files? We use Win-RAR which is free to download. :)

Are you a Year 6 teacher teaching the human circulatory system for the first time? Even if you've taught it many times before, this pack provides some first class resources to support your teaching of the National Curriculum 2014 Science Year 6 objective; "identify and name the main parts of the human circulatory system, and describe the functions of the heart, blood vessels and blood". The powerpoint features clear diagrams with some animation to explain how the heart, blood vessels and lungs work. There are a selection of colour posters and black and white worksheets in the pack to go alongside the powerpoint. All you need now is a real heart and lung to show the children!
Year 6 Human Body Circulatory System Lesson Teaching Pack with Posters contains:
